Caramel Apple Tart

apple. From classic apple pie to spiced stewed apples, there are countless ways to enjoy this fall fruit. One of the easiest fall desserts to wow your guests? This caramel apple tart. Thanks to frozen puff pastry, this 4-ingredient dessert is ready in under an hour, making it the easiest dessert to serve in a pinch. Ready to take the classic dessert up a notch? Ingredients

  • 2apples, cored, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp.caramel sauce, warmed, plus more for serving
  • 1/2 tsp.ground cinnamon
  • 1sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed according to package directions

 

Directions

    1. Step 1

      Preheat oven to 400°. In a medium bowl, toss apples with caramel and cinnamon until well combined.

    2. Step 2Lay pastry flat on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Arrange apples in overlapping slices on top of pastry, leaving a 1″ border.
    3. Step 3Bake tart until apples are softened and pastry is golden brown, about 30 minutes.
    4. Step 4Transfer pan to a wire rack. Brush with more caramel while still warm. Let cool 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
