Instant Pot Country Style Ribs

Meaty tender little bites of deliciousness. These country style pork ribs cook quick with the help of an instant pot and are finsihed with a dousing of barbecue sauce for finger licking bites!

Wanting finger-licking ribs in a fraction of the time, we decided to make use of everyone’s favorite countertop appliance for these instant pot country-style ribs. They were done in under an hour and finished in our favorite BBQ sauce making for a quick, easy, and satisfying meal that will become a staple in your rotation.

Ingredients

For the Instant Pot Country Pork Ribs

  • 2.5 lbs bone-in country-style pork ribs
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup Head Country Hickory Smoke Bar-B-Q sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves smashed
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp mustard powder
  • ½ tsp granulated garlic

For serving

  • ½ cup Head Country Hickory Smoke Bar-B-Que sauce
  • Scallions

Instructions

Season the Pork

  • Pat the pork dry.
  • Whisk the salt, paprika, dried mustard, and granulated garlic in a small bowl.
  • Seaon each country style pork rib, turning to coat all sides.

Pressure Cook the Pork

  • Add the orange juice, chicken broth, and Head Coutnry Bar-b-q sauce to the instant pot and stir to combine. Add the garlic cloves.
  • Nestle the pork in to the pot
  • Cover and secure the lid. Set the instant pot to cook for 25 minutes.
  • When the pressure cooker is done, allow it to release pressure naturally for 5 minutes before finishing venting with a manual release according to your pressure cookers instructions.

Brush with Sauce and Broil

  • Preheat oven to boril
  • Arrage the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil.
  • Brush the country ribs with sauce and broil 2 to 4 minutes, until sauce is just tacky.
  • Carefully, flip and brush other side of the ribs with the remaining barbeque sauce
  • Broil another 2 to 4 minutes.

Serve

  • Serve with sliced scallions
