Oreo Cookie Skillet

This beyond-simple campfire dessert is like survival food, but make it Delish. Don’t wait until the center turns golden—the rest will burn before it does! Plus, the top will continue to firm up as it cools. Serve it warm, scooped into bowls topped with your ice cream of choice.

Ingredients

  • 1(16.5-oz.) package chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 8-10 Oreos, broken into large chunks
  • 1 c.mini marshmallows
  • Ice cream, for serving, optional

Directions

    1. Step 1

Place a grate over a campfire. In a large cast iron skillet, combine chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough, Oreos, and marshmallows.

    2. Step 2Cover skillet with aluminum foil and cook until edges of skillet begin to turn a dark shade of golden, about 9 minutes. (The top will firm as it cools!) Serve with ice cream, if using.
